Urgent Aid Needed For Medical and Funeral Costs

“My name is Ari Alverson and my grandpa is Robert White and is very very sick. he has been such a hard worker his entire life at Bangor, and coached football for 30 years at what is now called Bob White Field. he just might be the grumpiest man i have ever known. and for that, i love him. i will always remember the lovely memories i shared with him, including driving down to Evergreen to walk out on the dock and watch the water, or the time i asked him to comb my hair and my nappy head broke the comb, or watching him work his magic on his lotto tickets, or falling asleep listening to Sade in the back of his “blue car,” (he had a crown victoria). i’ll miss picking his brain about his childhood until he got annoyed, or the way everyone hates his undercooked scrambled eggs but i love ‘em, or the more recent sounds of him humming a song we could never put our finger on. he was sent to the ER last night and was told he only has one week. my family and i will need help with funeral and medical costs. please respect our privacy during this extremely difficult time. i will always love you, Grandpa, and i will always feel your spirit with me. you can rest peacefully now.”
