Help Karen and Her Kids Recover from Hurricane Helen

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to you today to ask for help for an amazing woman, Karen, who is a hardworking single mom of two beautiful kids. Karen made the brave decision to move from Miami to North Carolina five months ago, hoping to create a better life for her family due to the rising costs in South Florida.

Unfortunately, just as she was beginning to settle in and adapt, Hurricane Helen hit. The storm caused devastating damage, and Karen is currently unable to return to her home. Her house is without water, electricity, or any power, leaving her and her children in a difficult situation.

In addition to her two children, Karen also has two large dogs that she loves tremendously. As a devoted pet mom, she’s doing everything she can to take care of them during this crisis, but she needs help with temporary sheltering for the dogs while she searches for a new home back in Miami.

Karen has had to return to Miami, where she’s struggling to provide for her family and her dogs. Expenses are overwhelming, and she needs urgent help with shelter, food, and clothing for her and her kids, as well as a safe place for her dogs.
