I don’t have much but don’t feel the need for much; I live in a small van (built slowly over 17 years) with my dog (left to me by my ex unexpectedly) and build hula hoops for a small company. This lifestyle has suited us fine and I’ve been content… I’ve never reached out for help despite needing it often.

Recently, I learned that my chronic condition (Severe Ulcerative Pancolitis) is going to require monthly medication that is much more expensive than I can afford. Retail costs for Rinvoq are around $8,000 a month.

I’m looking into all the ways to get assistance to pay for the medication long term (will need to be on it for life, unfortunately), but a friend suggested I try here for initial help getting bills paid.

I try to be a good person and help others whenever possible, friends and strangers alike… so I’m hoping some good karma can come back to me this time.

I feel awful to ask others for help, and know there are plenty of people that could also use some help - but if you can and decide to, just know it will truly be appreciated.
