If you are receiving this, you know Susan and she needs no introduction. As a climate and clean energy advocate, Susan has been calling for climate action for over 4 decades while speaking truth to power.

Sadly, Susan came from Climate Week NYC to a flooded home after Hurricane Helene's storm surge devastated her 1940 home in St. Petersburg. All her furniture, much of her drywall, and kitchen will need replacement losing many of her keepsakes along the way. Susan is now facing mandatory evacuation ahead of hurricane Milton, currently a life-threatening category 5 hurricane heading to the West coast of Florida near Tampa Bay. The climate crisis is affecting us all, even climate champions like Susan.

The CLEO Institute has supported her with flexible time and hotel costs but she needs more than that. She needs assistance while she waits for her insurance and gov. agencies, to get her home in order. Can you help?

Rest assure, once she comes back on the other side she will continue her relentless efforts towards the just clean energy transition we need and against the powerful forces that are denying the science, kicking down the can, and/or purely profiting from the fossil fuel pollution warming our climate and producing these unnatural disasters.
