Dear friends, family, and associates, I come at this time concerning a very urgent and severe matter. We are seeking financial support and contributions concerning my current health situation.

After a twenty-year battle with Congestive Heart Failure, the condition has weakened to the status of “End Stage Heart Failure” with an ejection fraction of 15%.

The past month and a half has been challenging, and spent in and out of hospitals where after the final stage diagnosis, I was informed I would need a heart transplant, and that living at home was not a safe option. Thus, I’ve been at Hartford Hospital since December 13 of last year, where I endeavor to wait patiently for a heart that would be a sufficient match.

With being out of work for over a month, and not having a definitive time of return, my wife Yelitza has now become the only source of income. This has placed us in a precarious financial situation from lost wages, to hospitalization expenses, travel costs to and from the hospital, and the long adjustment to post-surgery needs.

Needless to say, this has been a time of reflection and prayer; the most difficult in my life’s journey. Though with many prayer warriors, and the comfort from the Lord, I’m getting through each day by God’s grace. I have good days and I have bad days. It’s a long road ahead, a steep mountain to climb. Prayer is much needed, but we’ll soon get there, Lord willing!
