We are urgently seeking help for a 9-year-old daughter, Sayani Rithika Soumyasree, who is currently in critical condition at Rainbow Children’s Hospital. Rithika was admitted on November 18, 2024, with severe pneumonia, respiratory distress syndrome, and refractory hypoxemia. Despite intensive treatments, her condition worsened, and she was placed on VV ECMO (a life-saving machine that temporarily supports the heart and lungs).

Rithika has now been on ECMO for 22 days and requires ongoing care. The treatment is extremely costly — around $2,000 per day. Her family has already exhausted all available resources and is now facing a shortfall of $23,000 to cover the remaining medical expenses for the next 3-4 weeks of her treatment.
