Urgent Aid for Piper's Severe Injuries
Donation protected
- Piper is In A lot of pain from them, cleaning her side they have given her more drugs they want more money.
- UPDATE: I removed her from the emergency clinic. They were not doing what needed to be done. I work on horses so I've actually seen simular injuries. Moving on I got Piper into a veterinary clinic and they took her right in and got her cleaned up and closed up. Her spirits are higher, she is on drugs but not so much she won't eat.
- She has a good appetite and is drinking well. She can and does move all 4 legs. No she can't stand on them. Her pelvis has 4 fractures and praying they stay in place and she heals. She has a long way to go. Pray the skin re-attaches completely do she won't need more surgery.
- And the place that did the surgery is much more dependable and reasonably priced. Every small Donation will help the many bills I have incurred. Piper and I very much appreciate it. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
So happy to smell and have my dad close

Hello, I'm Matt Borst. I lost my fiancée 4 years ago, and we had gotten a new pup 2 years earlier. She's a little black and white French Brittany. She loves riding anything and always loved the snowmobile. She is with me 24/7 most of the time. As with most dogs, squirrels are their demise.
On 11/27/2024, yesterday, she ran across the road and got hit. She has a huge laceration (de-gloving) of her skin from belly to back and from ribs to beyond her hip. She has several fractures on her pelvis. No other breaks; legs good, spine and ribs look good. The emergency room cost at first was a little over $5000. She is still in pain, on IV, and catheter. Monitoring. They cleaned her wound some. A surgeon won't be in until Monday thanks to the holiday. Piper is aware of everything going on around her. She can pick her head up. But now they are wanting another $5600 for the weekend, which includes cleaning the wound, IV, pain meds, and monitoring. These charges do not include possible pelvic surgery, flushing, debriding, and sutures.
She is the world to me. Piper loves everyone. I'm having trouble posting pictures right now. Anything will help. Piper will need more surgeries as the skin heals. She should have very close to full recovery.
Thank you
