Our dog Tycho, a 3-year-old Cane Corso, isn’t “just a dog” he’s family. He’s my daughter’s emotional support dog, helping her through medically diagnosed anxiety and depression when nothing and no one else could.
Tycho has had professional training and has always been gentle, loyal, and loving. To me and my three kids, he’s like a child, a best friend, and a sibling all in one.
Recently, I lost my grandmother, and shortly after my children lost theirs. Tycho has been our greatest comfort through that grief. He’s helped us heal in ways words never could.
Now he’s the one who needs us. Tycho has a life-threatening intestinal obstruction and needs surgery to survive. Without it, we’ll lose him — and my daughter will lose her comfort and strength.
We’re doing everything we can, but the cost of surgery is more than we can afford alone. Any help, no matter how small, would mean the world to us. You wouldn’t just be saving Tycho’s life– you’d be saving a piece of ours and keeping our family whole.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for caring about our boy.
