Urgent Aid for Noor's Family to Escape Gaza

Hi, I am Grace from the U.S. and I am raising funds for Noor and her family to get out of Gaza. I am working to raise funds to get her and her family fed and out of Gaza. She is a family of 7: Noor (19yr), Asim (14yr), Hala (15yr), Ali (21yr), Muhammad (24yr)(martyred), and her mother and father (martyred). She is living in the north of Gaza, which is now under heavy attack.

She was just about to graduate from high school before the war started. Despite the hardship, Noor perseveres, remaining dedicated to her studies. While her stomach rumbles and cramps from the hunger, and while the constant planes and bombing are heard overhead, she studies.

She had a previous GoFundMe with a couple of thousand dollars, and the sponsor took her money and deleted his account. Please donate; 5 lbs of flour is $750, and it is around $8,000 per member of her family to get out. We need all the help we can get. She will only be able to get out of Gaza during a ceasefire due to closed borders. As ceasefires are few and far between, this highlights the urgency of raising these funds to have them ready for the subsequent ceasefire. I have asked her to write a statement for herself that I will be posting here.

When I was little, I wanted to change the world, as I got older, I was paralyzed by this want, never knowing where to start. One day, I realized I just needed to start, to pick something and do it. Well, I did just that and have been able to keep families/individuals alive. I discovered that it is not about changing the whole world, it's about changing someone's world and what an honor it is.

2. Shelter/Rebuild Home: When displaced, transporting their tent and a few belongings can cost upwards of $600.

Through Noor's Eyes: A Plea for Survival

My name is Noor. I'm 19 years old, and I dream of becoming an engineer. I used to be a top student, full of ambition and hope. But since the war began, I've been unable to finish high school. My school was destroyed, and our home was reduced to rubble. Still, I study on my own every day because I believe in the future, even when everything around me is crumbling apart. But nothing hurt us more than losing my older brother, Muhammad.

After our father passed, Muhammad became our everything - our protector, our provider, our joy. He did whatever it took to help keep us alive. Then one day, he never came home. We searched through the rubble for weeks. Eventually, we found his body. He was only 24.

Now we are 5; displaced, grieving, and trying to survive in a place with no safety, no food, and no medical care. Our only hope is to evacuate Gaza during the next ceasefire, but we need $40,000 to get all of us out. That is why I am sharing my story.

We are not asking for much - only a chance for life. Every dollar you donate brings us one step closer to survival, to healing, and maybe one day, to me becoming the engineer I still dream of being.
