Hello fb community and friends.

As of today, I am in desperate need of assistance, in many ways.

Unfortunately, during this terrible, cold winter storm, I find myself homeless and without a clue where to turn. I’m hoping that all of you can find it in your hearts to extend your grace and blessings.

My health had a terrible turn within the last few years, causing me to lose several toes and the ability to walk, as I once did. I have been lucky and had to rely on living with a close friend due to the financial hardship this suddenly brought upon me. It put me in a position where working is no longer an option.

I’m finally getting my disability approved and started. I was really looking forward to having the funds and ability to get my own place and back on my feet. That is, until Today.

At around 2:30pm, my residence in Grain Valley, Mo. caught fire. The reason it started is still unknown. Since at that time, nobody was home, it continued to burn until my entire bedroom and all I own was completely engulfed in flames.

Everything, besides the clothes that are on my back and the few items I had in my car. What didn’t burn of the house, was completely ruined by smoke and/or water by the time the fire department was finished putting out the flames. The entire home has been condemned.

Now, I have no place to lay my head tonight or a plan for the nights to come. Sleeping in my car is not an option, due to the freezing cold weather.

I am in need of clothing (size XL shirts/XL or 36x30 pants), hygiene, housing, food, and any help that I can find.

I can come to pick up any items of donation, if local to grain valley, mo or nearby.
