Urgent Aid for Mickie, Isaiah, and Fletcher

Hello, friends
My name is Fletcher. I live in Lubbock, Texas with my husband Isaiah, and his mother, Mickie with our delightful cats and one tiny dog. Both Isaiah and I are disabled, and since Isaiah's chemo treatments we've been floundering to regain our stability. Both of us do freelance work from home; Mickie has been a hardworking teacher for years. We've been able to be comfortable enough, but that's it. Our dreams of improving our home, of letting our incredible Mammuh retire, and everything else beyond functioning, have been out of reach.
This was something we could handle, something we have been working to grow beyond, but something happened recently that was a massive blow.
A few months ago, the power in our house grew faulty, and kept growing worse. We went through multiple attempts to assess the issue, and to fix it. It hit the point that our dryer couldn't muster the power to turn while completely empty, and we couldn't even lightly cool a house during an approaching Texas summer. Finally, we were able to get the power company to look into it. After finding the problem and fixing it, our power has been restored and works again, better than ever!
But there was collateral damage.
On the lighter side of importance (to an extent), our television was fried by the power cutting in and out. More importantly, my graphics card was fried (and possibly my motherboard too??? How fun!) This is extremely important because I am a digital illustrator and rely on a high power PC in order to do my job. It also burned the motor on the garage door, and now appears to have slaughtered our refrigerator.
We have been able to replace the garage door opener, and can slowly get everything else going, but we are not equipped to handle so much all at once. On top of that, Isaiah and I have been struggling to keep up with medical bills. (And even if we COULD get through the rejection/appeals process three or more times, disability, it's not a fix all solution by any means.) As trans men as well, Isaiah and I have even more medical needs we can't even address yet, and are trying to put together a plan to get somewhere safer for us as soon as possible.
Thank you for reading this far. For every $500 or so, we'll be able to mark one more expense off our list to recover from this unforeseen disaster. We will be so grateful for anything you are able to do. It's not an easy time for anybody, we know that better than some, so even just a share and some positive thoughts do truly help.
We love y'all.
