My name is Laura Maki. I'm starting this for me and my parents. We live in Northern Mississippi and are in a state of emergency from a catastrophic ice storm. We live next door to each. We have been without power since Saturday, and it has been reported, because of the huge amount of damage our area has gotten, it will take weeks to get power back. It is very cold with record cold temps that are just not seen down here. We have lost our food, we are running low on propane and gas. The amount of things we will have to get in the weeks ahead feels so overwhelming.. I myself am on disability,, my parents are elderly and my Mom is fighting pancreatic cancer and a diabetic. I need her to have stuff she needs available. Funds are already tight, and this seems impossible for us. Please please help if you can. If you can't, please send prayers.
