Urgent Aid for Kayla's Health Crisis
Donation protected
My name is Kayla and I am wife and mother of 3 beautiful girls. Over the last year I’ve had some unexpected events take place with my health. May 19th, 2024 I was diagnosed with something called Pulmonary Arteriovenous Malformation after having a pulmonary aneurysm and passing two quarter size blood clots through my lungs and up my throat. So you can understand further Pulmonary arteriovenous malformations (PAVMs) are rare, abnormal connections between pulmonary arteries and veins mine is 8mm in size, after my aneurysm I was quickly referred to a pulmonologist where I also found out I have had severe untreated asthma. I was put on Dulera twice a day this medication helps lesson my asthma symptoms and helps my overall lung function with my condition. On March 28th, 2025 I had my second aneurysm, this time with only 1 quarter size blood clot passing through my lungs and up my throat. This time I lost all feeling and movement of my hands and feet and went into shock. While in the hospital my blood pressure was in pre hypertension state and my heart rate was according to the Dr all over in high numbers. (Note that I’ve been having problems with my resting heart rate jumping up to 150 being the highest for several months now.) since being sent home from the hospital after a 2nd aneurysm I am having neurological issues with my hands and feet and in the right side of my face. Two weeks ago when seeing my Dr for the concerned heart rate issues I was referred to a cardiologist and scheduled for a 48 hour holter monitor but then told Medicaid had cut me off I no longer qualify due to my return back to work. I am struggling to find affordable health insurance that will cover all of my specialist referrals and medication. My Dulera inhaler is crucial that I have and I recently just finished my last inhaler and can’t afford to pay out of pocket myself for my medication. I am asking for help in donations to help supply me with a months supply of my inhaler giving me time to figure out good health insurance. If you’re unable to donate, your prayers are also much appreciated.
