The devastating 6.9 magnitude earthquake in the Philippines yesterday, September 30th, has left Kate’s family completely displaced. They live in the town of San Remigio, which is next to Bogo where the epicenter was.

Their home was tragically lost to the destruction, leaving them with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Like thousands of others, they are spending the nights on the streets amid repeated aftershocks.

Thankfully, Kate’s family is safe, but they are now facing the immediate, overwhelming challenge of securing basic necessities like food, clean water, temporary shelter, and clothing.

We are starting this GoFundMe to provide direct, immediate financial support to help them in these critical first few days and weeks, and to begin the long road of recovery and rebuilding their lives.
