Fight Cancer with Janemarie Broome

Thank you for considering this Go Fund Me. Our dear friend Janemarie Broome began feeling ill around 8 months ago. She told her Dr, she advocated for herself, and her insurance denied her diagnostic treatment for 8 months. Last week she found herself in the ER where she was diagnosed with cancer. She had emergency surgery the next day. Doctors are trying to determine next steps.

Janemarie will not be able to return to her job at Lowes. This means that she will lose her insurance and also her livelihood.

Her family and friends have decided to embark on a fundraising campaign in order to provide for Janemarie while she recovers from her surgery and then to cover her expenses while she waits for Social Security (currently takes around 8-9 months for disability to be approved).

Outside of her healthcare needs she recently discovered her car is in need of approximately 10K worth of repairs (needs new transmission and power train).

Her monthly expenses are approximately 2500.00 a month for basic necessities. We are trying to raise enough money to cover 1 year of expenses, vehicle repair costs an/or a replacement vehicle, and funds to take some time to spend with her kids and grandkids as she faces a very long and hard battle. this comes to approximately 60,000.00.
