My name is Sharon Sturdivan, I'm a forty-nine year old woman who's been homeless for the past almost three years, this next Thanksgiving. It's not just me, but my late wife, and my fifteen year old daughter were homeless by my side as well.

It's beginning to be summer in California yet again, and me and my daughter won't survive another summer in this unforgivable heat. My wife passed away this year, due to our circumstances I couldn't get her the treatment she needed. It gets to 110 here each year, and we're under tarps with only further excuberate the heat.

And unfortunately, we also have pets we have to feed, which I can barely afford to do so. We have several cats, and our dogs recently had to be surrendered because we could not feed them, and they were getting heat stroke. One of them is severely injured as well.
