I’m reaching out to ask for your support for my 66-year-old mother, a long-time Pasadena resident who has called this city home for the past 35 years. Recently, her apartment building sustained significant damage in the Eaton fire. While her unit wasn’t completely destroyed, it is currently unsafe to enter, and it’s unclear when she’ll be able to return.

My mom, a retired grandmother, spends much of her time lovingly caring for her two young grandchildren, Tru-Leigh and Sirr Major. When she was forced to evacuate, she was only able to grab a few personal items, leaving behind much of what she depends on daily.

This unexpected event has left her in urgent need of support. She is facing challenges with basic necessities such as food, toiletries, and other essential expenses. As she begins the long and uncertain process of recovering from this devastating fire, any help would mean the world to her and our family.
