I received a phone call from one of my supervisors thinking everything was business as usual, but it was anything but, it left me feeling sick to my stomach, and an overwhelming feeling to rally support. One of their children suffered a terrifying dog attack that left them with emotional trauma no child should ever have to endure.

Their teenager is currently undergoing multiple surgeries to install hardware, and to restore blood flow to the extremities, healing from both arms being broken, some fingers, along with needing skin grafts. The pain she’s enduring—both physical and emotional—is immense, and while she’s showing incredible bravery, she needs help to keep going.

We’re asking for support to help cover mounting medical bills, travel expenses for their appointments, therapy, and any additional care they may need during recovery. Even the smallest donation brings us closer to helping her walk, laugh, and feel safe again.
