Hi! I’m Emma! A family that is very near and dear to me had a tree fall on their home yesterday during the storm. Unfortunately, the police deemed the home unsafe to live in until further notice. Currently, they are waiting on a tree removal company to come out and remove the tree. Once that is done, the home will need to be inspected before anyone can reenter. Sadly, it is an older mobile home and there is interior damage from the tree. We are all hoping and praying the home is able to be fixed, but also need to prepare for the worst-case scenario.

Right now, they are staying in a hotel, which could get costly. Aside from paying for the hotel, they will need to eat as well and can’t cook in a hotel room. They are also further away from their jobs, so will need additional gas as well.
