We are asking for donations so that my wife's family (surname Alhayek) can escape the horrors of this war. They sent you this message that I want to deliver:
This may be our final opportunity because every day we are alive is a blessing and a miracle. All roads for receiving aid have been blocked and attacked. No place is safe, not even the hospitals we go to for treatment of our wounds. With your support, we can break free from this cycle of destruction and death. Your donations can provide us with the means to escape, rebuild, heal, and to forge a path towards a better tomorrow. Every dollar – even a small donation - and sharing the link to GoFundMe counts towards our survival. Your support will literally save our lives.

The required amount to evacuate my family is:
€35,000, distributed as follows:
€30,000 for the services of Hala Company. Hala is a tourist company and is in charge of aid transportation into Gaza, with ties to the Egyptian government. It is Palestinians’ only remaining hope of escaping the carnage and destruction taking place in the Gaza strip.
Hala will coordinate the exit from Gaza to Egypt for seven individuals (five adults at €5,000 each and 2 children at €2,500 each). The remaining €5,000 will be to cover rent, living expenses, and resettlement for my family for several months in Egypt.
This also includes fees for the GoFundMe campaign about (3%).
Your donations will be sent by western union service to my brother-in-law Mahmoud Alhayek in Egypt to be paid to Hala Company.
