Hello, my name is Deanna Devereaux and just yesterday (12/30/25) my family was, without much of any warning, evicted from our apartment.

Some prior info: This goes back to around Thanksgiving when we were ready to pay our rent early when the people who run those apartments had locked our account. Ever since then we've been trying to get money to them, to no avail. Skip to now and we had sent two months amount of rent to a trustee, only for the very next day to have officers and moving people at our door. Our lawyer was absolutely no help the entire month either. And since the money is with the trustee, there is no getting that money back that we so desperately need right now.

What am I raising money for?:

1. We are currently living out of a hotel and need to pay for however many days we'll be here.

2. Funds to extend how long we can keep our Uhaul so we don't lose ALL of our stuff.

3. Food to tide us over until we can get on our feet better.

4. If we are to find a place ASAP, we need the fees for the application process. That is a huge thing that is keeping us from getting into a new apartment right away.

I hate asking for money but this is a frightening time in my and my family's lives and ANY amount of money would help us greatly.
