Dear Friends, Family, and Community,
I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart to share the devastating news of a tragic accident that occurred on June 25, 2025, on Route 61. Three beautiful children, Lexeano Kelleher (18), Keyavion Camper (17), and Amaya Colon (17), were involved in a serious car crash. Amaya Colon (17) is still in critical condition in the hospital. The boys have been released and continuing their recovery at home, as Amaya continues to fight for her life. She has a TBI, under went multiple surgeries and is in a coma. These families are facing unimaginable challenges and uncertainty.
These children are cherished members of our community, known for their bright smiles and loving spirits. The road to recovery will be long and arduous, and they will need ongoing medical care, rehabilitation, and support. In light of this, we have established a GoFundMe campaign to help alleviate some of the financial burdens their families are facing during this incredibly difficult time. I am reaching out to you on behalf of a dear family friend, Ashley Kelleher, who is the beneficiary of this campaign. Your generous donations will be directed towards covering medical expenses, food, and essential living costs during this challenging time.
Our connection with potential donors has been fostered through various social media platforms, emphasizing the profound truth that tragedies can affect any of us at any moment. It takes a united community—a village—to come together and support one another in times of need.
These are children who deserve our compassion and assistance, as they could easily be our own. Your support can make a significant difference in their lives.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
Warm regards,
Chantel Campbell gofundme organizer and Ashley Kelleher- mother of victims and beneficiary of fundraiser
