This Gofundme is for a friend of mine in Venezuela. He is a Christian evangelist and minister of the good news of Jesus Christ (though he has not been able to minister at events due to financial strain on the church, since they cannot afford venues and have resorted to home gatherings). Many of you are aware of the conditions in Venezuela. More than 90 percent of the population lives in poverty. My friend Andres and his wife and two young children are in need of financial assistance and your prayers. Things have already been hard enough with finances and not being able to buy groceries and diapers for the babies, and keeping up on rent. Andres works but it is not nearly enough to even keep up with the rent. You can only imagine that they often have go without food to survive and keep a roof over their heads. I had made a gofundme for Andres in the past, but it had not gotten much attention or help. This time i am making a gofundme, because the older son of the two is fighting a serious bacterial infection of the deep skin layers and underlying tissue of the face. If left untreated, it can lead to severe complications like blood infections. This infection is accompanied by an oral infection as well. My son, Andres Isaac Gaetano Lobo, is 18 months old, and is going through a somewhat difficult health moment, which has depleted us of all of our resources. He was recently diagnosed with advanced cellulitis of the face and an oral infection and needs to be hospitalized. He has already had a fever of 102 °F - 104°F (39°C - 40°C) for a week now, accompanied by diarrhea and vomiting.

Over the past two days he has presented with an abscess in his mouth, which is affecting his face with swelling and purple discoloration.

My family and I were strangled by the Venezuelan government regime, so we lost all of our assets and income. Currently we are without a penny to be able to afford the baby's medical expenses.

We literally have no food or diapers for him either.
