We are reaching out to our neighbors, friends, and community to ask for urgent support for Ana Mari and her young child during a sudden and devastating family crisis.
The Situation
On January 8th, the primary provider for their household was unexpectedly detained and moved to a detention center in New Mexico. Since that day, Ana Mari’s world has been turned upside down. Beyond the emotional toll of being separated from her partner, she is currently facing a high level of fear and anxiety, making it difficult for her to leave their apartment—even just to go to the lobby.
Why Your Help is Needed
Ana Mari has always worked hard to provide for her family and hesitated to ask for help, hoping to manage on her own. However, after nearly three weeks of being unable to work, the situation has become critical:
• Legal Fees: Retaining an attorney to navigate the detention process is an immediate and heavy expense.
• Housing Stability: Rent is due, and their savings have been almost entirely drained.
• Basic Necessities: Funds are needed for daily essentials, including groceries and utility bills.
How You Can Make a Difference
Our goal is to provide a safety net for Ana Mari so she can focus on her child’s well-being and their legal situation without the immediate fear of eviction or hunger.
Any contribution, no matter the size, is deeply appreciated. If you are unable to donate at this time, please consider sharing this link with your network to help us spread the word.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, your prayers, and your generosity.
Wishing you warmth and many blessings.
