Hello, my name is Ali I am based in the U.S and I am raising money for my, dear friend, Alexander’s, family. I have known Alexander for about 5 months now and have seen him struggling through this terrible time. I hope that this campaign can help support him and his family to survive and afford the things they need. He has been hesitant to set up a fundraiser, but conditions have worsened greatly in the past few weeks leaving no choice.

Currently, Alexander and his family have been displaced for over a year in the North of Gaza due to the ongoing genocide. Their family home was destroyed by bombing as pictured in the top photo.

“I fled from northern Gaza because our house was bombed and to protect my family's life. I now live in a dilapidated tent that does not protect against the cold of winter or the heat of summer.” - Alexander

Life is very hard in the North being displaced, there are little resources available and what there is, is expensive. I am starting this fundraiser in hopes of amplifying the families story and raising money for Alexander, his father, his son and nephew so they can access basic needs.

Unfortunately, Alexanders father, Moner Aloo, suffers from diabetes, high pressure and bad vision. He has not had proper access to the care he so desperately needs, worsening his conditions. He has ulcers on his foot as well as diabetic neuropathy and pain. Additionally, he is a wheelchair user and needs a new wheelchair. A new wheelchair will cost 3,000 dollars at a minimum.

The money will also go to buying essentials like food, water, shoes and winter clothing. The family greatly needs nylon and other materials for weatherproofing their tent as winter is coming, this is estimated to be around 500 dollars. Everything in the North is currently price gouged and it is very difficult to afford the most basic of needs. Some of the money will also go to go fund me fees and conversion fees. I will be sending the money through paypal to a friend and that friend will ensure the funds are transferred to Alexander.
