Urgent Aid for a Resilient Caregiver

Donation protected
It's been a rough few years.

My Mom has moderate to severe Alzheimer's and dementia and I'm her primary caretaker. A long-term relationship ended. I had to move out my apartment so I'm homeless. My car is down. My contract as an independent contractor recently expired so I'm unemployed.

And now my elderly parents who are both in the mid-to-late '70s have COVID.

I'd saved a little to weather the storm but now the funds are starting to get low. My parents' insurance paid for the first prescription of Paxlovid but I'm not sure it'll pay for the next one if they need it and it costs $1,300. My car needs $11,700 worth of repairs mostly due to a weird flaw found in this particular make and model (2009 BMW 335i). So although I have some promising job leads I don't have transportation to get there. I'm hoping to raise enough funds to maybe just get something in case I can't fix my car.

To make things worse I'm temporarily living with a church elder I grew up with. I recently got into what I thought was a mild disagreement about politics (he believes Trump is God's divine retribution to punish non-believers) but after it was over I thought nothing of it. The next day he announced in the middle of church that I was a "dishonorable child who deserved to be put to death" and I've been really struggling with that. It's been hostile ever since. I love and respect this man but I'm trying to raise funds to move out.

Anything will help and opening myself up like this is scary. But I'm just hoping to find a little relief.
