Hi there. I am My; a Danish resident of Spain.

I am a believer in love, peace and freedom. So, like many people, I have been horrified by the images and stories broadcast from Gaza showing the suffering of the Palestinian people in what is now accepted as a genocide. Thanks to the connectivity of social media, I am now in direct contact with Nael Mohamed Hassan in Gaza who is trying to survive in hugely challenging circumstances with his wife and 5 children. Below you can read a message directly from Nael about life in Gaza.

It can be overwhleming thinking about how we can do anything at all to alleviate the suffering of all the people in Gaza. As individual citizens of the world maybe we can't. However, collectively what we can do is make a big difference to the lives of one family there. So, I am asking please can you give whatever you can. Even small amounts can help. The funds raised will be transfered to Nael's account at the Bank of Palestine, the details of which I have. Nael will then use these to purchase food, health supplies and any other necessities the family need on a daily basis over an extended period of time.

Message from Nael

My name is Nael Mohamed Hassan. I am writing to you from Gaza where I am a father of five children aged 10 - 21 years. My heart is heavy and my spirit is worn down by the endless suffering caused by this war. We have lived for months under bombings, fear, and loss. My family, which includes my wife Amal and her parents, have lost everything — our home in Beit Lahia was burned to the ground by IDF soldiers and now we are left with nothing. We are struggling every day just to survive. We have no permanent shelter, no food, no safety. We are searching tirelessly for even a small, damaged apartment to rent — just a place where we can rest, rebuild, and feel human again. We have the clothes on our backs and the desperate hope that someone, somewhere, will hear our plea as we grow weaker from hunger.

Please, I beg you, show us mercy. Any donation, no matter how small, could help us take one small step toward peace and dignity. Still, I believe in peace. I do not seek violence or believe in it as a solution, only peace and friendship with good people who care about human life.
