I've been volunteering with Edith Allen Wildlife since last year. I watch this small family-run rescue work tirelessly daily to help all kinds of wildlife have a chance in this world. We are currently in fawn season and I've seen them come in daily. A lot of these tiny, helpless fawns are injured and covered in fly strike. Without the rescue's help, they would have a slow, painful demise. They are offered kindness and relief from pain while in their care. I've seen firsthand the urgency needed to help fawns at arrival. One thing the rescue greatly needs is an IV warmer so time isn't used getting warm water baths together to warm the bags. Time is of the essence and I'm trying to raise enough funds to buy them 2 IV warmers. Any help is greatly appreciated and goes straight to Edith Allen Wildlife Rescue. The family that runs this would give you the shirt off their back if it helped you. Can you spare a few bucks to help them continue to rehab and release NC wildlife?
