I am Suleiman, a Palestinian child who lost his father. I take care of my younger siblings and try my best to provide for them. Before the war, I used to study, but now I can’t. I once had a beautiful home, but it was destroyed, and today I live in a torn tent on the street, with no shelter and no proper food.

My dreams used to be big… I played at the sports club and hoped for a better future, but this cruel war took everything from me. It wasn’t enough that it took my father and my friends — now I am left alone, exhausted both physically and emotionally.
