I am a young professional in the DC area and a single mom. A few months ago, the company I worked for closed. After a long search, I’m finally starting a new job in the middle of November, but right now my family is at risk of eviction.

My landlord has scheduled the eviction date and we know it will be some time before November 16th, but don't know the date. I need to raise $3,400 in total ($1,700 more) ASAP to cover rent and fees so we could keep our home until I start my new job.
