Family, friends, and fellow brethren. My name is Urella Jeremy, and I want to share my story with you in the hopes that you can assist me as I embark on this journey to pay off my medical expenses.

I came to the United Kingdom in November 2018 to visit my son, as I had been poorly for over a year, and I thought I was dying. He was 20 years old and had moved to the UK three years prior. Within a week of my arrival, I was admitted to the hospital after visiting A&E. Unfortunately, I was given the devastating news of having stage 3 myeloma (blood cancer) and stage 4 kidney disease. I am not a UK citizen, so I must pay for all my visits and treatments. However, I don't have medical insurance, and I cannot work because of my other ailments and no citizenship. I am thankful that I was not denied treatment; my only child Jonathan Heywood is doing his best to take care of me during my ordeal.

I am very hopeful and a true believer. I have been using my time to inspire and encourage others, forever putting a smile on everyone's face. I am content with life, but I am asking for help to ease the burden on my 23-year-old son, who has to take care of my every need.
