To everyone reading these words, we are now in the seventh month of the war on Gaza. These days are filled with nothing but fear and deprivation, and the sounds of bombing and destruction shatter our dreams. In our home in Gaza, I live with my family of fifteen members. Our lives have been transformed into details of oppression and suffering, which continue to weigh heavily on us.

On the ninth of October 2023, the third day of the war, we were forced to evacuate our house and the entire surrounding area next to my university. We were unable to take any of our possessions, even our personal clothes.

Then we went to our relatives thinking that we would return to our home after a short time, but the area in which our home was located was completely destroyed and wiped out.

With the intensification of the violent bombing that affected most of the residential towers surrounding us, and the death of hundreds or even thousands of children and women, we were unable to stay in that house, so we headed to the nearby hospital, which was filled with thousands of displaced people. It was two very difficult nights.

The army asked all residents of northern Gaza, which contains 1.5 million people, to leave and head to its south. On the way to the south, with thousands of cars, some were bombed in front of us and many people were killed, even though they said it was a safe area, but homes, tents, and cars containing civilians were bombed

In the midst of this turmoil, the basic necessities of life have become luxuries. We struggle to find food, water, and shelter amidst the chaos.

My family and I face daily challenges, from enduring harsh weather conditions without proper clothing to navigating through the ruins without a safe place to call home.

While we are grateful for the aid we've received from friends and neighbors, the scale of destruction is overwhelming, and we need more help to rebuild our lives.

Leaving our homeland is a heartbreaking decision, but it's a necessary step to ensure the safety of our family and to seek opportunities for a better future elsewhere.

The situation here is dire, and the only option we see is to leave for the safety of our family. I'm determined to complete my education, and I believe in a brighter future for us, but we need your support to make that happen. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a significant impact on our journey to safety and a new beginning.

We literally lost everything, the family home, the eldest son Muhammad's home, Diya's house, our car, and our jobs.
