Urbano Diaz Funeral Arrangements
Spende geschützt
Our Dad, Urbano Diaz, is a loving, caring, generous and kind man of God. He has been a wonderful father, husband, grandfather, and friend to so many.
Unfortunately, our family had multiple Covid cases over the prior weeks and our father was exposed to the virus. On January 4th, we had to call an ambulance for Urbano because he was feeling unwell and we decided that he needed further care that could not be provided at home. He was admitted to the hospital and also tested positive for Covid despite all the precautions our family had taken to protect him. Due to his age and health conditions, some of the necessary treatments would not be beneficial to him. After 11 days in the hospital, the doctors notified us that we had come to a critical point in his care as his condition was rapidly declining. The following 2 days, we received the call from the doctor that we were not hoping for. The doctor and hospital informed us that Dad was not progressing and there was nothing else they could do for our him. Unfortunately, on January 18th, our family made the difficult decision to place him in hospice so that his suffering will not be prolonged, and he can live out his last days pain free and at peace. At this time, the doctors believe that Dad has 2 to 3 days left before God takes him home.
Our family has been slowly preparing for this day we knew would come; however, this day has come much sooner than we had anticipated. We are asking for assistance from our family and friends to help with the funeral expenses that will be incurred due to his passing.
If you knew him personally, you know that he could always bring a smile to your face. He will be missed by so many as he leaves behind his loving wife, Petra Diaz; his 8 children, Evelyn, Angel, Bernadine, Minerva, Albert, Danny, Maryann, and Lisa; 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 2 living brothers, Hector and Haimen.
While we are brokenhearted to see him go so soon, we know that the Lord is ready to receive him and say, “that you have run the race and now he is home”. It comforts us to know that God’s promise is that one day we will reunite with our loved ones. We know that Jesus is waiting at the gates with our little brother David and all our passed loved ones to welcome Dad home with open arms.
We thank each of you for being a part of our Dad’s life. We hope that he leaves a memory with you as he has left so many with us.
Thank you for any contribution is well received and appreciated. God bless you from the Diaz family.
