Hello,

Coach Farokhi here...As you may know, I am collecting photos and names of all Urbana graduates who went on to college academics/athletics. The goal here is to revive the Wall of Fame that stopped sometime in the very early 2000's.

In the athletic hallway at Urbana, there is a space I intend to use to print and frame and hang high-quality photos of Urbana's alumni who went on to college athletics.

The purpose here is twofold.

The first is to honor the achievements of Urbana's best athletes. You deserve to be recognized!

The second, and arguably most important, is to send a message to the current and future Urbana youth that SO many Urbana kids go on to do great things. Athletics is, or can be, a pathway to a better life. Whether you're club, D3, D2, D1. It all takes commitment, hard work, and grit. Those attributes build you into a stronger human, able to tackle life's challenges even when the cleats are inevitably hung up for good. Urbana kids need to see this is possible AND that it happens...all the time. It might change or save a life.

I humbly ask the members being honored and the Urbana community to help me support this financially. It's not mandatory, but it will help. To print a large photo with a quality frame and materials to hang may cost close to 15-25 per person.

ANY excess funds will be used for future WOF. All of it will go to school improvements, aimed at inspiring current and future students. For example, life-sized vinyl banners could be hung in the weight room of athletes from each sport category.

We currently have 65...I repeat...65...additions to the WOF, with more coming in. Help us reach and exceed our goals if you can! You are appreciated!
