Urash Family

Family and friends are raising money for the Urash family who welcomed Baby Henry in this world too early. Henry Gerald Urash was born March 26, 2024 at 9:51pm, weighing in at 3lb 6.6 oz. The nurses called him a miracle because he had a true knot in his umbilical cord and babies do not survive to full term when this happens. Within hours Henry was transported to UC Hospital to the NICU where nurses were working around the clock to save him. Margret Mary urged Courtney (mother of Henry) to stay for observation until the morning. Spencer (father of Henry) went with Henry. At 4am Courtney woke up clammy and had a low temperature and they knew something wasn’t right. Margret Mary nurses were quick to try to figure out what was wrong- both Henry and Courtney had a bad infection that kept them apart in two separate hospitals and two separate states. Baby Henry’s results came back and both hospitals were able to determine the cause to be able to properly treat both mom and baby. Once Courtney’s numbers were improving, Spencer pushed for Courtney to be transferred and the two hospitals worked quickly to get Mom and Baby together. The family was finally together at UC.

Family and close friends were there to bring support, food, and prayers. Henry kept fighting, but the news continued to go in the wrong direction. Henry had a dedicated team of nurses and doctors around him at all times, but unfortunately there was nothing more they could do. It was only a matter of time.

March 30, 2024, Family and Friends gathered at the hospital and in small groups went in and held Henry and said their final goodbye. At 9:41pm Henry Gerald Urash departed this Earth and went to be with God.

We have gotten an overwhelming support and request to help the family and they will be well fed over the next couple of months.

However we have no idea what the hospital bills will look like and the request to help and show love is tremendous so we spoke with the family and they are reluctant to take money they understand people want to help and are very grateful. They said they would only take what they need and donate the rest to help other families in similar situations.

Thank You Henry Gerald Urash for being the Angel to save your mother and fight as long as you did for your family to know you, hold you, and love you. We will see each other again, but until then, we know you are being cared for and loved. We love you. Rest in Peace.
