Tammy Brawner's Medical Expenses

On Labor Day weekend in 2015 my sister-in-law, Tammy Brawner, was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor. She has endured brain surgery, radiation and intense chemo therapy. Tammy is now fighting for her life in the trauma ICU at UT against a devastating and deadly bacteria called Necrotizing Fasciitis. Since her diagnosis she's required transport via Lifestar, two extended stays in the trauma unit, countless miles to and from treatments (over one hour each way) AND the radiation/chemotherapy treatments. The cost of these few things can and will quickly reach and surpass the $100,000 dollar mark. This is a significant cost for any family to bare. They're also travelling to and from Knoxville daily to be with Tammy. Anyone who knows Tammy, knows she always has a smile on her face and a helping hand to lend. The love she has for her family is enormous! Tammy is the daughter of Wendell and Joyce Cecil. She is married to Tony Brawner, a teacher at Wartburg. She also has two children, Derek (Shelby) Brawner and Heather (Sam) Hughett, Mommy to a sweet 1 year old daughter, Aspen, and soon to be sweet baby Ryder in a few short weeks.
