SHAVE FOR A CURE
BE BRAVE AND SHAVE!
This may be a little backwards, but today, the 5 of us were brave and shaved!
We know that raising money for such a great cause would usually be the lead up to a shave; but our beautiful abuelita/mumma/wife/hermana/ tia, started loosing her hair a lot sooner than expected! So that Leli wouldn't be on her own, we all decided that today was the day to shave!
Many, if not all of us, have or will be affected by that dreaded C- Word at some point in our lives. Ours, unfortunately, has been truly affected; and if all kinds of support, encouragement, confidence, family and laughter is what Leli needs, then we will do what we can to provide it! Because you, Leli, deserve every boost of positivity you can get ...we love you endlessly and we will fight this together!
All money raised will be distributed between 2 different cancer research centres/charity. After the 5 of us shaving, we want to spread the love and keep our spirits high!...with our goal to raise at least $5000 within 2 months!
50% will be going to Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre. This research centre is what Leli has decided to donate to, and is where Leli has been treated!
The other 50% will be donated for Ovarian Cancer, supporting our beautiful family friend, Nicole! Because, Nicole, you too deserve all the support, confidence and positivity we can give you! You are such a strong woman, and a stunning and courageous mumma, sister, aunty, nan and friend! We love you!
