Support Ruby in Her Fight Against Cancer
Dear Friends, Family, and Kindhearted Strangers,
We are coming together for our dear friend Ruby, who is facing an unimaginable challenge. Just weeks ago, she celebrated six years in remission. But last week, she received devastating news—due to findings in her pathology report and its connection to her original cancer, she is no longer in remission. A tumor removed from her forehead was found to be malignant, a rare and aggressive form linked to Lynch Syndrome, a hereditary gene mutation connected to her original diagnosis: Stage 3 Endometrial Cancer with a bonus cancer, Uterine Papillary Serous Carcinoma.
Ruby does not have insurance, but before anyone worries, know that she has been through this battle before. The last time, despite paying for premium insurance, she was denied critical care at every turn. She fought for her life then, and she’s ready to fight again—but she shouldn’t have to do it alone.
Next Steps
• This Friday at 8 AM, Ruby has a colonoscopy (as her new tumor is connected to colon cancer). Please send prayers for clear scans.
• Next Wednesday, 3/12, she has an oncologist appointment to discuss her treatment plan moving forward.
Ruby has always been the one lifting others up, and now it’s our turn to lift her. She is overwhelmed and humbled by this, but we know that love and community can ease this burden. We ask for your prayers, your shares, and, if you’re able, your support. Every contribution—no matter how big or small—will help cover her essential tests, scans, and doctor appointments.
Let’s rally behind her and show her she’s not alone. She is a bright light in this world, and we need to keep her shining.
With gratitude,
Wendie/Team Ruby
