My Mother's Rescue Fund!

My mom is trapped in an abusive situation, and has no family able to help her. She was very abused by her parents all her childhood, and no longer can speak with them or her entire side of her family to protect herself. She is divorced from my dad and so is completely alone. Currently she is very depressed and stuck living as a roommate with verbally abusive drug addicts, alcoholics, and ex drug addicts. She is kept up at all times of the night, with sounds of people being beaten or yelling or breaking things. She has called the cops but her roommates play dumb like nothing is wrong; the cops won't or can't help her unless she's in physical danger, and neither of us want it to get to that point.

We have considered shelters, but many are full to capacity in her area. People may say, she's dang lucky she even HAS a place to stay, bad or not! And she is grateful to not be homeless. However, she is also so depressed now from this that she can hardly function, and her physical health has become poor and is continuing to degrade with all the chronic stress she endures. I'm the oldest and only one of her four children willing to help her right now. I am an artist by trade and cannot hold a job due to my physical problems. She is in Washington, and I am in Wisconsin and I feel absolutely helpless to save her. She needs money for transportation (perhaps a used car to get transportation to more jobs), renew her driver's license (the renewed ID would help her get a job as well), afford food, and hopefully a down payment to become a roommate in a healthy situation so that she can hold a job. 

She has nearly no one to have her back, she has been forced to live with very dangerous or toxic people for years, and I am so sad for her that I am calling out to the community for help. If it were not for her kind, intelligent, generous and wise spirit, I would not be alive today, many times over. We have had a very hard life. Please consider helping my mom, and in turn helping me. The helplessness her and I feel is tearing down our happiness.
