Help Our Family Avoid Eviction
Our family is facing one of the most difficult times of our lives. My husband is recovering from chronic kidney failure and is on disability. I recently lost my job due to the bill signed on July 4, and shortly after, my child also lost their job and has had to move back in with us. With six children to care for, this has placed an incredible strain on us emotionally and financially.
We have always worked hard to provide for our family, but right now, we are falling behind. Our landlords are unwilling to work with us and have added a $700 late fee to our rent. We now need $2,800 by August 31 to keep our home. If we cannot raise it in time, we will be forced to move and would then need at least $4,000 to secure another place for our family.
The weight of this situation has been overwhelming. Between my husband’s health challenges, my job loss, and our child’s loss of work, we are doing everything we can to stay afloat. I have been applying for jobs and holding onto faith that things will turn around soon, but right now we need help.
Any donation, no matter the size, will bring us closer to keeping a roof over our children’s heads. We are deeply grateful for your kindness, generosity, and prayers during this time.
Thank you for helping us hold our family together.
