Eric Schon needs a kidney and pancreas transplant. 

Eric is a father and husband who has lived with Type 1 diabetes since childhood.  This has meant insulin shots four times a day, sometimes more.  He's been an active, working family man, but this disease has changed his life for the worse. 

His kidneys are failing and as a result, blood pressure, blood sugar levels and other health concerns have plagued him.  He was laid off from work -- not because he couldn't work, but because he couldn't travel at this time.  He still has the insurance to get his organ transplants, but travel expenses with the surgery, co-pays and more will be more than the family can handle financially.
