Help Karen Fight Pancreatic Cancer
Donation protected
Not very often do you find a person who truly has an astonishing soul- someone who always picks you up when you’re down, who will go the extra mile for a stranger. A person who is too good for this world but, by God, this world is lucky to have her...
That person would be our beautiful friend Karen, a loving wife, an outstanding Mother, a wonderful daughter, the best sister, an extraordinary friend, a fantastic hairdresser and all around good soul.
On Monday, March 20th 2023, Karen received a devastating diagnosis: late stage pancreatic cancer.
This healthy, young, active woman and her family couldn’t wrap their heads around this. How could this be right when she had been feeling fine? How can the doctors be giving so little hope?
Luckily, with our miracle angel Maxine, Karen was quickly able to get into a clinical trial at the University of Michigan's Pancreatic Cancer Center. This trial offers to give Karen and her family HOPE, and that is exactly what they need.
With the insurance company not covering a trial treatment, Karen not working, and her husband being at her side, this leaves Karen and her husband in a situation that no family should ever face: the burden of trying to survive, but not wanting to put your family in a precarious financial circumstance.
This is where you can help, this is where you can be a hero. When cancer leaves so many of us feeling helpless, this gives us a way to fight back, a way to help!
