They say pride goeth before the fall and well, I'm dropping my pride right here. For the last two years, I've been working unpaid taking care of my mom. We've gotten by fine on her SS and my Dad's Army pension...as long as there are no surprises. Unfortunately, the last two years have provided way too many surprises and I've had to dip into the IRA and savings. As such, I have no money to start up my plan for getting back to my drawing and painting beginnings, which will allow me to make my living. And I've added fine art photography to my list. However, money is needed to reconfigure room here at home for a studio and for stocking the studio; and since I need time for creating the art or refining a photo, I need to hire someone to take over some of the care of my mom. I'm sure you've seen them, what is one, Bright Star? Visiting Angels. So the funding will be used to not only set up my art studio, but to help hire caregivers for my mom to give me the time to build up my inventory to sell and I'd like to get going as soon as I can; my drawing finger is getting very itchy!

So I'm desperately hoping my “second families” and friends will find it in your hearts to help me start up my art studio, so I can make my second career of creating drawings and paintings that I'm itching to produce.
