We’re reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for support for our dear friend, Terry Eleftheriou.
On 31st October, Terry was taken into hospital with a suspected heart attack and suffered a severe stroke as a result of a tear in his aorta, that changed his life overnight. By God’s grace and the prayers of many, he survived — but his journey to recovery will be long and difficult.
Terry now lives with impaired vision and reduced mobility and is currently unable to work. As a result, financial pressures and debts have built up, adding to the strain. He has also endured the heartbreaking loss of both parents, and now, more than ever, he needs the support of his community.
Anyone who knows Terry knows his constant smile and warm embrace — a man who has always given so much to others.
As we approach Christmas, a season of compassion and giving, we are reminded of Jesus’ words:
“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
We are raising funds to help cover rehabilitation, specialist therapy, and essential living costs, allowing Terry to focus on healing without the burden of financial worry.
Every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference. If you’re unable to give, please consider sharing this page and keeping Terry in your prayers.
All of us within the Greek Orthodox community, Churches and his family and friends collectively thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support.
