Help me take my kung fu journey to china！

Ni Hao! Greetings, everyone! You may know me by the names Twig or Charlotte, but in the martial arts realm, I go by Lan Lan, the Dragon Warrior. Temple is my second home, where I refine my martial skills and push my limits. After three years of dedication, it's time for the next level. Excitingly, I've set a goal to journey with the Temple family to the Shaolin Monastery, the birthplace of Kung Fu, this summer. I'm diligently training and working hard to make it happen. my story of how I found kung fu!

At the age of 25 I started becoming depressed and broken and my love for skateboarding disappeared. I knew I needed a new drive to get me out of this depression state. As the only thing that kept me going was my wife she kept me afloat, but I had to learn how to swim for myself. I started drinking a lot gained weight and didn’t have the drive to do anything. I said to my wife, “I need a drive again” and she asked me what is the one thing you wanted to do all your life. martial arts was the first thing that came to my head. I started searching for schools and I didn’t know what martial art I wanted to do. but I found a School in Cheshunt. Temple.London!

I booked a 121 with Matt Jane (long shifu),the first step was the hardest, that first lesson, going into the unknown, I got there and have never turned back, it changed my life, could say saved me in fact! It was like was reborn, and with the support of my wife i put all my energy into this and now it feels as anything is possible. from not being able to do a single push up and not having many skills to now becoming an intermediate student, dedicating all my free time learning! Now knowing different types of weapons, such as nunchuck, 3 section staff, and even styles like drunken sword. I also received the title of dragon warrior last July in our graduation: rise of the dragon!!

But for the next summer I wanna take my skills to the birth place of kung fu and learn and educate myself, becoming an even better version of myself, I’m trying to fund this trip myself, but any help would be amazing. There is so much opportunity in this world and I just need a little help to get there.
