FOR THE LOVE OF DEENA
Hi there,
We are writing to you in hopes of receiving some donations for our beloved, sweet Deena. All we want this Christmas is cancer treatment for this wonderful woman.
Deena is 45 years old, and was born and raised in Victoria, BC, Canada, where she married and is raising two boys, along with her dog, Coco.
Deena and her family received devastating news in 2008 , a diagnosis so many of us fear - cancer (breast cancer). Deena bravely faced her cancer with a positive attitude as she went through a bilateral mastectomy and hormone therapy. She and her family were grateful to be in remission for 2 years, when it returned in 2013. The cancer had metastisized to her bones. Following the second diagnosis she received radiation, chemotherapy (which will continue for the rest of her life), and hormone therapy. Deena was in remission for a year but the chemotherapy has stopped working and the cancer has returned.
Deena and her family faced her most recent news with a deep sadness but a positive attitude and renewed commitment to getting through this no matter what it takes with the support of family, friends and caring angels (you). After many converstaions, doing a lot of research, and hearing patient's testimonials, Deena hopes and prays she receives treatment at the CMN Alternative Cancer Clinic. As she and her family cannot afford this treatment we are hoping to appeal to the compassion of others for donations (we'll even pick up cans/bottles!). Anything will help and will be deeply appreciated.
