ARM'S FOOTAGE OF A COW BEING TORTURED
As a result of ARM's investigators embedding themselves for over six months on three seperate illegal animal slaughter farms, located in Loxahatchee (FL), the Palm Beach State Attorney's office, Palm Beach Sherrif's Department and Palm Beach Animal Care and Control joined forces with ARM and bought each of the slaughter farms to their knees simultaneously.
SUCCESS - ARRESTED!
Eight violent animal offenders were arrested on a variety of charges, including a history making arrest of a horse killer and butcherer. During the raids, ironically stashed inside a horse barn, the discovery of a large, overloaded freezer, was tested and proven positive to being horsemeat.
HORSE MEAT
Along with documentation and footage captured by ARM investigators, this was a part of a secret society and black market organized crime ring where violent criminals, such as those arrested in the Loxahatche raids, have been killing horses to sell to for human consumpotion illegally. Many of these horses are off the track racehorses, protected wild horses and showhorses.
HORSE BUTCHERED FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION
Infact two days after the raids, a grand prix show jumper was targeted and became a victim of brutal back yard slaughter after being led from his stable. Loxahatchee, being located in the close proximity of Wellington, one of the most prestigious equestrian communities in the United States, has now become a target for more attacks.
The Animal Recovery Mission is continuing it's investigations and multiple campaigns on illegal animal slaughter farms and horse killers in light of our discoveries.
Meanwhile, and the subject of this Go Fnnd Me page, ARM also rescued almost 300 animals and bought them back to it's newly developed Sanctuary Division. Here, the abused animals have been treated by ARM's vetinarian teams and staff around the clock in our efforts to gain their strength and chances of survival. Here, the surviving victims of abuse, will live out their lives on ARM's Sanctuary where they will never be exposed to neglect or abuse ever again.
A NEW LIFE BEGINS AT THE SANCTUARY
ARM is asking for the support of every animal advocate and lover to please help us get established and set up seeing the sanctuary was only formed weeks prior to the raid! We have currently spent over $20,000 in fencing and securing the property. Through some amazing donations of feed, supplies and vetinary assistance, ARM is making headway for the animals, but WE STILL NEED YOUR HELP!
ONE OF ARM'S VETS WITH A RESCUED GOAT
The animals ARM rescued were in dire conditions with extremely low body conditions and riddled with deadly parasites and disease that we have been fighting to cure. Our feed bills are extensive and we still have a long way to go.
AN ARM VET DOING LIFESAVING SURGERY
ARM is in need of funding towards animal feed, fencing and building materials, water pumps, animal feeders and vetinary visits.
