Help Us Get A New Apartment and Car

I wouldn't be doing this, unless we were completely at our wits end.  We just received word that our car is beyond repair.  That we can't put anymore money into it because it's almost twenty years old and the engine has died.  We also received word on the same day that we have sixty days to vacate our apartment.  I woudn't be posting this unless we were completely desperate. 

My wife and I love helping out in our  community and we want to keep helping with the special needs students at Fairfield and Armijo High Schools, and also with The Leaven.  The two tools that we need to do that are a place to live and a reliable vehicle to use. 

The money that we are trying to raise will be used for two simple things.  To find us a new place to live that we can afford, and to put a down payment on a new (to us) car.  We only ask for help so we can keep doing the work that we're doing. 

Personally, I don't like asking for help, but I feel I have no choice.  Please help us.
