Afghanistan's Centennial Festival

While the Afghan diaspora around the world is celebrating Afghanistan’s 100 Independence Day with exceptional enthusiasm this year, here the Afghan American Community is celebrating this momentous occasion with pride as Afghanistan’s Centennial Festival at Bull Run Park, Centreville, Virginia. 

Afghanistan’s Centennial Festival in Virginia is a community initiative to celebrate and show support for our nation and its people. A massive festival such as ACF is the best way to bring our community of all backgrounds together and spark unifying energy and love for our motherland and its people. 

ACF is a day full of musical performances by famous Afghan singers, Bazar with live demonstrations, authentic Afghan food and treats, Attan of 1001, traditional games, kids activities such as Lapis Lazuli Corridor Train Rides, puppet shows, rock climbing and moon bounces and much more.
