Beta's Stand Up Against Cancer

Hey guys! My name is Benjamin Handweger, and I am a Junior and brother of Beta Theta Pi. For our philanthropy event Stand Up Against Cancer; which will be hosted in support for The American Cancer Society on April 21st from 8:30-11:30. 

Our event is a stand up comedy competition where the winning will win 100 dollars donated to the charity of their choice. With all of our proceeds going towards the very important research being done by The American Cancer Society. Our goal is to raise as much money as possible for the American Cancer Society. Cancer is an uncurable disease that millions of people per year are diagnosed with. Most people know somebody who has been affected by this disease, and my organization and  we hope to be able to raise enough money to change at least one persons life in a significant way. 

Lets make this event amazing and raise money for the people who need it more than we do. Any donation will be appreciated immenseley, to Beta and to the people of The American Cancer Society, and to the millions who have been affected by this disease.
